Ruddy graduated from the School of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Costa Rica. At school, he worked on projects that were both on a small and large scale, in which he carried out architectural proposals for housing, social, educational, cultural and sports complexes. During the last year of his degree, he received training in the areas of Tropical Architecture and Weather Design. After finishing school, he worked in leading companies in BIM (Building Information Modeling) management and consulting, in which he provided modelling services to various architecture firms and construction companies in Costa Rica.
